Welcome from the Principal
Garth Hill College serves the community of North Bracknell and surrounding areas for pupils aged 11-19 years of age. We offer a good range of traditional academic and vocational courses, and a strong team of very dedicated, well qualified staff are well supported by a highly skilled and experienced Governing Body.
We believe that learning should be an enriching and enjoyable experience and that everyone is entitled to achieve their full potential. One of our key aims is to provide first class learning in 21st Century facilities. We moved into a brand new state-of-the-art college in September 2010. Our new building is one of the best in the country and it is helping us to deliver an even better educational experience to our young people.
Our success has been built upon high standards and expectations. We expect our young people to demonstrate good behaviour, self-discipline and respect. We praise and reward good citizenship, but there are clearly understood sanctions for unacceptable conduct. As a result, Garth Hill is a happy place of learning. We also expect members of our learning community to accept full responsibility and always try their best.
